Question about bras...
I went to Victoria's Secret yesterday to get some new bras. The sales person insisted that the "nude" bras (a dark tan) look best under white shirts because they are more skin colored. Now, my skin is very white so I am probably more like the white bras anyway. But I was wondering if you really think the tan-ish ones are better under white shirts? Since they cost me $45 each I want to get a color I can wear with anything.

I actually wear a tan bra all the time It depends on the thickness of the shirt. If its a tee shirt no if its a work blouse most of them you can get away with. but if I was you and as white as you say I would get white, especially for the piece of mind

tan underwear (bra's and panties) are always better under white for some reason. It masks the underwear better.

I never really thought about it...it sounds good though....but I never really thought that White looked bad under a white shirt.

Supposedly becuase it's skin toned and less "stark" than a white bra/underwear.
I've tried white & tan underwear with pants and tan is sooo much better.
You should try it at home. The idea of underwear is to keep it hidden. If a white bra shows, it's OK but isn't it better for it to be completely unseen?
You really have to try it for yourself to see what works and what you think though.

I have hear that too. I prefer the beige b/c they don't show under white or other colors. Soemtimes white shows under darker colors 9 if it is a light wegiht material) & white bras just reminds me of HS , ( weird, I know)
My favorite bra is actually a pinkish beige whic I think works best with my skin tone.

I'm terribly pale and I like tan colored bras because you can't see them.
If you think about it, no matter how pale you are you'll never be WHITE... you'll always have a hint of color.

I am also very pale & the slightly tan ones do work well under my white shirts, as long as it is not too taupe.
