Easy and YUMMY wasabi mashed potatoes

Wasabi mashed potatoes

1 1/2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and halved
2 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup whole milk
1 heaping tablespoon wasabi powder
Salt and pepper, to taste

1. Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add the potatoes and, when the water returns to a boil, lower the heat, cover the pan, and cook the potatoes for 20 minutes or until tender.

2. Drain potatoes into a colander, put back into the cooking pot and beat in the butter.

3. In a bowl, stir the milk and wasabi together. Beat them into the potato mixture with salt and pepper. Serve at once.


I ALMOST ATE THE WHOLE POT

THis sounds great. Dh is OBSESSED with the Seared Ahi tuna these days..this would be a great side dish!!
