Ok, I have to ask a question...

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question. But I have to ask. Today I feel very nausaus (sp?) and AF is still visiting (very light) and I think it is from taking my vitamin this morning on an empty stomach. Well, heres the question, one of my friends here at work was joking "maybe Im pregnant" (she has no idea Im trying) and I told her not with AF in town. She claims (and Ive heard this before) that you can still have what looks like a normal period and be pregnant. I dont see how this is possible. Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've heard of implantation bleeding and some women experience this and mistake it for AF. Do a search on it and I'm sure you'll gets tons of infor on it. Good luck! Chat Icon Chat Icon

It is true that some women bleed there whole prego...but it is more common in the first few days of conception (implantation) and first 3 months.

I have a close friend that was getting her AF NORMAL for 4 months...AND she was on BC pill! Meanwhile prego.

Take a test if you are really doubting yourself...can't hurt right??

GOOD LUCK!!!Chat Icon

Don't understand that one myself. A friend of mine had regular periods for 5 months during her pregnancy and not one PG symptom.

From what I understand, you can't have your period while pregnant because it's the elimination of the uterine lining. However, many woman spot and/or bleed during pregnancy and that is mistaken for a period.
