Okay, finally making a VERY conscious effort... but I have a question
I know, I know . . . This is a dieter's Famous Last Words, but. . .
Monday is THE day!! DH and I are going to both make a conscious effort to eat better and get in exersice, even if it's an evening walk (which we can do the next 2 weeks b/c DH is working days the next 2 weeks only).
I am eager and very glad that he is supporting me.
My question is...
What in the world can/do I eat for breakfast? I need options.
When I think of breakfast I think, cereal, bagel, CARBS, CARBS, CARBS....
I want something low carb or no carb and EASY (as I have an 8 wk old).
A BIG TIA!!!! Will weigh myself at DS's Dr appt on Monday, to get a baseline...it'll "hurt" but I will post it.

I am not really on a diet but just trying to stay healthy.
I usually eat 1-2 of the folowing: egg whites - sometimes on english muffin banana jar of fruit baby food soy yogurt dry cereal (kashi, life) granola bar (kashi, nature valley)
And I always have chamomile tea

I usually have egg whites on toast, but some other options that are very good for you:
oatmeal - try not to eat the flavored kind though - too much sugar cottage cheese - I have it on toast or rice cakes mostly (it's nearly pure protein) yogurt apple or banana with peanut butter

Re: Okay, finally making a VERY conscious effort... but I have a question
Turkey ham or turkey sausage with some egg beaters are a good option too.
Also, if you like oatmeal try putting different suff in it, like a little peanut butter (natural), or canned peaches (no sugar or lite).
One of my favorites is to cut up and apple into little bite size pieces and put it in the microwave for a minute or so with some sweet and low or splenda and some cinnamon, and then put that over plain oatmeal, yummy.
