Re: Empire carpet?

I can't speak for myself but FM PotofLuck06. She used Empire for her house and loved them.

Re: Empire carpet?

I got a quote from them and the quote was higher than Home Depot. Also, Empire brings the choices they need to get rid of so they may not have the selection that Home Depot has. My house is all carpeting and all the rooms were done by Home Depot...

I used them once and hated them!! They came in very high when we gave them a second chance and didn't use them.

Friends of ours was going to use them but had to throw them out of her houseChat Icon

Home Depot came in very high for us too.

The only one we will ever use now is Kelly Carpet in Seaford. They are sooo great. When I had my flood last week they were going to come over and help me out free of charge.

And they have great prices. I know several people that have used them and have all spoke very highly of them.

Re: Empire carpet?

i've used them twice....always satisified, although something interesting happened the last time we booked them. I called to cancel the second appointment before they installed and was going to put it off for a month or so....they offered me a new discounted price to not cancel which turned out to be HALF of the quoted amount..Needless to say i had them come for the new price..just an FYI

We used them and were very happy. The Home Depot carpet we got for MORE money looks like crap. We'd use Empire again, no doubt.

Re: Empire carpet?

We used them twice first to do our three bedrooms when we moved in they quoted us $1250 or something like that for about 350 square feet then we had them come in to do our den which was 420 square feet and 5 stairs and they wanted close to $2000 for the same type of carpet. My husband called them up and complained about the price and they gave us the den for $1350. Both times they did a great job and the guy who did my stairs did an amazing job.

We used then for 4 bedrooms and a hallway/stairs and were very happy with the service and quality of work.

The original quote was a little higher then we expected so we told the guy we will get back to him, well he took about $800 off the price and we were happy, so DEFINITELY negotiate!!

We did the same thing. We used him for our LR, stairway and hallway upstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs, including the MB. They did a terrific job and when they quoted us one price, we said that was a little high, and he took another 10% off.
