I'm going to Maine the 1 st week in August and we are bringing our dog. We are going to Acadia Park, one of the few dog friendly national parks. Can't wait to get away!

p.s. A cool thing to do is go to a hotel website and just put in New York and a weekend date. Put in find the closest, cheapest hotel within like 200 miles and see where you land!

Well, we just got back from Europe a month or so ago...
Last weekend I was in Colorado-- it was HOT.
We are going to Cape May with some friends in a couple of weeks...
In August-- I am going to a spa resort upstate with my mom.
Depends what you want the weekend to be--- Philly always has hotel deals and it's close to NY and it's a great little city. I love going down the shore-- and there are places that are not as far as Cape May if you want something beachy. You can also always research last min deals for a summer weekend-- check out Site59.com.

I have a very exciting summer planned. NOT. I wish...The ONLY thing we have is that we are going to Syracuse next weekend for DH's annual family picnic. Exciting, huh?

I have an exciing holiday on Long Island planned for mid september. How exciting! We will be spending out days relaxing at Roosevelt Field mall, our evenings at Daves BBQ and then our late nights at Target. We might head out for a lovely evening at Jones Beach for the night.
Anyone Jealous???

We just got back from Germany a couple of weeks ago - really loved the part we visited (and the fact that we got to have dinner in France one night as well  )
We're going up to the Berkshires this weekend - one of my BILs has a lake house. The entire clan (minus 1) is going up - 21 of us (on DHs side) 
In Sept. my sister, BIL, niece, DH & I are going to Charleston, SC - it's a surprise trip for my Dad (we're conspiring with our stepmom) - he turns 60 this year!

Cleveland - the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Obviously DH got to pick this trip. It should be a nice roadtrip though.

going to dominican republic for a the first week in August (staying at Excellence resorts in Punta Cana) and then going to Myrtle Beach for a week at the end of August!! Can't wait!!!
