ANYONE HAVE TO SEE A PERINATOLOGIST AND IF SO, WHAT WAS IT FOR. MY DOCTOR WANTS ME TO SEE ONE BECAUSE OF MY APA,THYROID AND PCOS ISSUES. ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT. ALSO IF YOU HAVE A NAME OF A DOCTOR THAT WOULD HELP TOO AS I CANT GET AN APPOINTMENT FOR A 1 MONTH...

I have to see one on Wednesday because I failed my 3 hr glucose test. The role of the perinatologist is to closely monitor the development of the baby.

I saw one before I was pregnant to get a game plan. He put me on baby asprin, Metformin and made sure I was taking my folic acid. He told me to come back when I got a bfp so he could put me on Lovenox. If I didn't get pregnant in 6 months on Met he would add Clomid. It really helped knowing that everything was mapped out and I didn't have to play the wait and see game. I now go to Madonna in Babylon and I couldn't be happier with them.
