Advice about Job Fair

Going to the 2nd (and last) Broward County job fair on Friday - we have a wedding tomorrow night and I am taking a 6:10 AM flight down Friday morning to Fort Lauderdale - I am bugging because I am going to be late to the job fair and I hope not all jobs are given away!

Question about resumes -

How many resumes do you think I should run for the job fair - there are like 90 school listed - but a whopping 8 have guidance positions listed - last time my friend Deb told me to make 100 copies and I came home with a TON - I have such a pet peeve about wasting paper - I couldn't use any of those resumes over because my resume changed when I finished the school year.
Don't want to bring too little - don't want to waste too much - if I have to start looking for university jobs, I won't be able to use these resumes again cause the objective says guidance counselor.
I also won't have time like I did last time to drop resumes off at random tables...

what do ya think? -30? 40?

Re: Advice about Job Fair

I'm going to go high and say 50. I would give them even if they're not hiring. I got my current job by not even looking at available jobs, but sending a resume to every school in every area I wanted to work at with a cover letter saying to keep me on file. And I even got a call last year, four years later, so my point is, think bigChat Icon

Even though I'm not going to have the time to drop resumes for the most part? (fair is only until 12:30 and I'll be lucky if I get there by 10 b/c of my flight)

Well, if you don't get to drop them off, you can always send them in the mail.Chat Icon
