1st Anniversary Trip... Caribbean?
DH and I are looking into destinations for a trip to celebrate our first anniversary. It's a last minute idea - any suggestions? We were hoping to go to the Caribbean, or anywhere beachy, and looking for direct flights only. TIA!

St. Maarten, Anquilla, Turks and Caicos, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, or Aruba.
All are beautiful!! We just got back from a cruise that went to Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, and St. Lucia. I loved all three islands.
I have heard Aruba is great. I heard it has a lot to do and many restaurants to eat at. It might be your best choice.

The Sandals resorts are beautiful and so well worth the visit. I HIGHLY recommend the one in the Bahamas! Close by in flying time, lots to do on the island and at the resort, and so relaxing!!

we went to the el conquistador in puerto rico for our honeymoon and it was amazing - jet blue flies there directly, which is nice

Jet Blue is having a $129 sale on flights to aruba for the fall (im not sure where you are going)
DH and I love Aruba and just got back after spending 2 weeks there on vacation! There is spectacular beaches and warm (not hot) weather. Plenty of variety and good restaurants and lots of water sports and activities.

We are going to the Riveria Maya for our one year anniversary. Direct flight, 3 and a half hour plane ride.

We went to St Lucia for our honeymoon
Cabo San Lucas is Mexico but so much fun but its a little far
St Thomas and St John are close and right next to each other

We are also going to Riviera Maya - Playa del Carmen to celebrate our anniversary... in two weeks! We are staying at Secrets Capri - can't wait!!
