High School Social Studies Teachers...
Hi everyone,
It occurred to me, after perusing some lesson plan sites, that the social studies teachers on the board should identify themselves so we can help each other out over the course of the school year. I know I'd love to have some people to bounce ideas off, and wouldn't mind giving advice, either! If anyone is interested, let me know. I love this board, and would like to make even more use of it by talking to other teachers in my subject area

HI!
I teach high school social studies... AP United States History, and 9th Grade World History. What classes do you teach?
I teach Global I (ninth grade), 12th grade government and 12th grade economics. Yay, another social studies person!!

I am a HS SS teacher and I have taught an array of subjects. This year I am teaching 9th grade Global, Psychology, and Sociology. Usually I teach 10th grade Global, but this year will be different. I have also taught an American Lit and Film class and Government.
I look forward to exchanging ideas!

Hi!!!! I'm a high school Social Studies teacher...In the past I've taught Global I and II and Intro to Psychology....Last year and this year I am teaching Global I....I love the freshmen!!!! I would definitely be interested in some new lessons or ideas!

High School SS for 13 years, curently on maternity leave so I'm not really into lesson planning these days... my brain and heart are preoccupied

1 more month to go  before we're back!

I'm also a high school ss teacher. I have taught 9th, 10th and 11th. This year I am supposed to be teaching AP Economics and either 10th or 11th graders. I won't know until school starts.
