Anyone have Aetna?
I need a good ob/gyn that takes aetna anywhere on the island...something has to be wrong with me...I am on day 18 and havent ovulated according to opks and this is month 7....

I hate Aetna. My Gyn is in the city he acepts it but sorry i dont know any OBGs on the island
Just cancelled my insurance with them today

What problems did you have with them? We just switched from hip
1. Way too expensive. (Over 600 a month for dh and I and dh wasnt even enrolled in everything)
2. My primary and headache doc didnt accept it, so I had to find different docs.
3. Copays get expensive
4. Not much of a discount on prescriptions
but mostly it was just way too much $$$.
Switched to an AIG healthcare program saving over $300 a month now

I have the Aetna Freedom Plan and I love it! Never had a problem and use Premire OBGYN in Woodbury/Great Neck

I have Aetna too and I'm thinking of switching to this practice.
Not a big fan of Aetna since I couldn't get BC from the pharmacy (had to mail order) and it was much more expensive than Empire. No choice..my company switched to them.

I have Aetna PPO and my Dr's are in Stony Brook, Dr Arato and Dr Blyzack. I love them both!
