Can someone recommend some nice restaurants in the Roslyn/Mineola Area??
Going out for dinner with the IL's on Saturday night... need a place that's nice, where I can eat (I am veggie).
Thanks

thanks...
I think we found a few options... MIL suggested Citron, but there is not really a lot for me to eat there.

What about La Parma or La Marmite? They are both in Williston Park - but close to Mineola.
ETA: Here are links to their websites: La Marmite
La Parma

I was going to suggest La Marmite...They have a ton of fish dishes to choose from and the food is delicious!

If you like Italian, I recommend La Parma on Willis Ave. or Piccola Buscola on Jericho Tpke. La Parma is usually very crowded and portions are family style.
ETA: I second Ivy Cottage but veggie dishes are very limited and you will need a reservation because the restaurant is very small.

Piccola Bussola is good, but family style. La Marmite is VERY nice. Riverbay, all seafood if you eat seafood it's the best!

Piccolo's on Jericho Turnpike. (not Piccolo Bussola)
They make theri own ravioli - yummy.
If you go to the restaurant.com website you can get a gift certificate and look at their menu.

Re: Can someone recommend some nice restaurants in the Roslyn/Mineola Area??
thanks everyone.... we had our RD at Diane's and was there with IL's once afer the wedding-- wanted to try somewhere different.
I think we are going to try that Mio place.. or maybe Piccolo Bussalo-- which is very close to my IL's.
