How often do you have caffeine?
I am craving a Chai latte from starbucks- but they don't make them decaf. I don't usually drink caffeine, but occassionally i will sip DH's diet coke. I am debating whether I should do it. Since I got pregnant, I haven't (knowingly) drank anything with caffeine. I pretty much stick to water, seltzer or lemonade.
What do you think? I am 13 weeks.

I drink freshly brewed tea every once in awhile. There is less caffeine in tea than in coffee, I would go for it if your craving it.

I'd say go for it! I occasionally will have a Mocha Frapuccino and about 2-3 times a week ill have a cup of caffeine - whether it is cofee or soda.
Doctors say its okay to have a cup a day - so once in awhile isn't going to hurt you or the baby.
Enjoy it.

I had caffeine - My doctor said 1-3 cups (small cups) a day was fine. The first 2 trimesters I was really careful about it. Gave up soda, and iced tea. Now that I'm 32 weeks, I feel like I'm much more relaxed about it.
IMO - If you order a small (tall) and that was/is the only caffeine you were/are having for the day - then go and enjoy.

You can have 300-500 mg caffine a day.
Here is a link for a site that counts caffine. Someone posted it a week or so ago - it was really helpful.
Also if I'm reallly in the mood for Starbucks, I have my latte but I make sure thats my only caffine for the day.

I drink coffee every day...most times it's decaf or half caf though.
If you're craving the latte...just go for it...there's really no harm in having it once in a while.

Once in awhile I have a soda with caffeine. But I don't drink coffee and if I have tea, its decaf. I try not to have more than 1 can of soda a day, which is hard because I am a sodaholic.
