Part time Job

I was offered a part time position at a company that is opening a business in a new location. For now, I would only work certain hours each week, obviously less until there is more clientele. Do you think that it is a bad idea to quit a job that I work more hours at and I don't particularly care for, to go to a company that I will work less hours for initially, yet make $10 or so more an hour? I would also be able to be involved with profit sharing and have a 401k. Keep in mind, this is only a part time job in the mornings, I have a full time job starting at two six days a week. I just don't want to make the wrong decision. Thanks!

no one can't make this decision for you, only you...but, I can tell you my experience. i quit my full time job (i was there 7 years) that i hated and took a part time job that i love. if the part time job is something you will love to do, sometimes taking chances works out. Good Luck.
