i thought they were always expensive? i only shop the clearance rack there, in between seasons you can get some amazing deals.

Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie are owned by the same company. It's kind of like ON, Gap, and Banana Republic.

Yup. UO started first and then Anthropologie was created to grow with the women who started shopping at UO. I believe they're branching of again to another store (but that was old news when my one SIL used to work for the company).

Some of the stuff is cute, but I tend to find the stuff overpriced and too trendy. Once in a while I will find something great there.

ITA. I dont mind spending $$ if clothes are quality, but I think their stuff is crap.
