I think WW is better because it teaches you how to eat. Nutrisystem is a good program but in the long run you are not going to eat that food and you cannot go back to old ways of eating.

Re: Weight Watchers OR Nutrisystem?
Another vote here for weight watchers. It's a life change, not just a weight loss program.
Once you go off nutrisystem I think it's hard to keep the weight off unless you are very self-disciplined since you don't have the prepared food ready for you.
Ultimately though it's a personal decision! Good luck with whatever you choose!

I think attending the meetings definitely helps with the success... it keeps you accountable... you know you are going every week to weigh in... plus at the meetings, you learn great tips and it helps to hear other people's stories to know that you arent alone...

Re: Weight Watchers OR Nutrisystem?
Weight Watchers- All of the WW ladies posted my exact thoughts. Good Luck with whatever program you choose.
ETA: Meetings are necessary for me because I need them to stay focused and to see that other people are going through what I am going through. I have also been a struggler with emotional eating for most of my life, so I know that I can't stop going to meetings and be successful on my own (been there and learned the hard way)- not at this point anyway.
To be blunt, I think the success rate for people continuing to be successful on WW without attending meetings has a great deal to do with WHY someone is overweight. I think the more emotional the eater, the more they need that meeting for continued success.
