Do you follow trends or your own personal style?
Me, personally, I just pick out what I like and what looks good on me. I don't have the energy or $$ to keep up with trends. Plus, I just don't agree with the trends a lot of the time.
ETA: I try to spend most of my $$ on pieces that will look good and won't be dated by next year.

I do both, I buy trendy pieces but I also like classic pieces, as long as they make me feel and look good, that's all the matters to me.

I'm not a fan of trends at all. I buy what I like.
My DH makes fun of me because normally if something becomes trendy or popular, then I want nothing to do with it. I hate having/wearing what everybody else has.

Same for me. A lot of the clothing trends don't flatter my shape.
So if anything, it's an accessory, like a bag or shoes. Neither of those will make my thighs look bigger than they are.

I always go with my own personal style. However if I like something trendy and it looks good on me, I will go with it, but that's not very often.

I don;t follow trends at all. In fact, I am a few years behind in the trends! I am oddly shaped (call it fat if you want) and I buy what fits and doesn't make me look like a 35-year old trying to be 21 again.

I follow my own style.
I find a lot of the trends these days are too young for me, or I couldn't wear to work. If I can't wear it to work, I usually don't buy it.

I stick with mostly classics, like real jewelry versus costome trends, flattering jeans for my figure versus trying to pull off something that is clearly not working.
I get my share of compliments, so I guess it works.
I do throw in a trend here and there though, if it won't make me look 16.

buy what I like whether it is trendy or not. Although I get excited if I love the current trends, cause it means I will love alot of stuff that season!

There are alot of trendy pieces that I tell myself that I would not be caught dead wearing. Some of the clothes out now I could not picture myself wearing!

I definitely follow my own style. I used to be much trendier. However, I like more classic pieces now. My sense of style has gone out the window.

I am very classic. I buy some "new" things but I tend to stick to the basics infused with touches of trendy. I hate being uncomfortable and some outfits are too "done" for me....I'll do up my hair and makeup before I put on something I can't sit still in all day.
