GRRRRRRRRRRR... The plus size boot problem!
So I wanted to start looking early. I checked the torrid site. All their boots start at size 7.
SO I went to the Lane Bryant site. OMG They have the cutest boots....
BUT AGAIN!!!! size 7!
YES I am heavy! Yes I have big calves
BUT im only a size 6!

Did you try zappos.com? They have small sizes and list the circumference of the boot.

There's a catalog I got once that had boots specifically for plus size women. I think it was woman within. Did you try them yet? I'm a six also so I would have the same problem but I've had better luck with manmade boots instead of leather that have an elastic top instead of a side zipper. It's the zipper that makes them impossible for me postpartum. I'm hoping it won't always be that way but we'll see.

Try Avenue. I think they go down to size 6. Plus, they have those nifty 40% off one item coupons from time to time. Got a gorgeous pair of boots there last fall...and they fit my huge calves.

I just found this site the other day:
Some styles seem to come in 6.
It says wide widths, but they have wide callf, medium width boots too.

For other people looking for wide boots, I found this site, but they start at size 7.

This is my 4th year of a quest for wide width, wide calf, real leather, tall on medium heel boots, that aren't ugly and fit my short legs.
