3rd hospital visit...
this complete previa is really taking a toll on me! I will be going on 33 weeks sunday and i am scheduled for a csection on oct. 19th due to total previa and because the little guy is breech as well! So far i have had 3 bleeds and had to stay in the hospiital for a few days unil bleeding was gone! Yesterday morning i went in because i bled and were feeling some contractions (low back ache and some crampiness) I was discharged last night since the bleeding stopped and the dr. put me on procardia to stop contractions. Now i have to take procardia once a day until birth. And i'm on total bedrest except for bathroom priviledges. I'm hoping i won't need to revisit the hospital again, until its actually time! Anyone else in a similiar situation?

I wanted to wish you luck!
I am also on Procardia (have been for about 2 months) and I've been on bed rest (but I'm allowed to get up for 4 hours a day now). I don't have previa, I have a history of PROM (premature rupture of membranes). I'm 34 weeks tomorrow and my c-section is scheduled for October 22nd.

thanks, boredom does come easily for me! I just keep thinking a little over three more weeks and then my csection! The hospital already called and set up my presurgical testing on oct 17th. but for now i'm pretty exhausted!

I so know what you are going through...with my DS I had complete previa as well..I was in and out of the hospital with many bleeds. was also on bedres..He was due on May 31st..I ended up having him May 1st b/c of a severe bleed...they had to do an emergency C section..Hang in there..I know its so tough..if you have any questions feel free to FM me!
