Re: How did you find out?
By virtue of the fact that DH & I are both over 40 we knew it wouldn't be easy. For me the only way my periods were regular was on BCP - not that I didn't get them, I did, but they would last for 10+ days and only be 10-14 days apart.

Re: How did you find out?
I knew - I don't get AF regularly so I knew there would be a problem. What I didn't know was how much of a problem.

Re: How did you find out?
I always had a gut feeling that this would be difficult for us. I started charting my cycles as soon as I stopped taking bcp. I immediately knew there was a problem. I had long irregular cycles with late ovulation and at time delayed ovulation. Even so, I heard that it is possible to get pregnant with cycles like this. After 9 months of trying with perfect timing, I spoke to my gyno who tested me cd3 and cd21 (or 7 dpo) to find my hormomes were low/borderline. At 1 year I started seeing a RE. There was never an explanation for why we werent concieving.

Re: How did you find out?
Went off BC, tried for about 1 yr with no success. Went to an RE and did partial testing, then switched jobs. In the meantime my DH saw his doctor and was diagnosed with a blockage. He had surgery for that and here we are a year later still trying - but sort of in the casual way. After the New Year I am going full steam ahead.
