false alarm- the hospital sent me home
so, i ended up going to the hospital and they hooked me up to some monitors..I'm definitely contracting, but its like every 10 minutes. For about a 1/2 hour that i was there i was contracting every 5 minutes, but the nurse said they werent strong enough. I cant even imagine how much more painful these things are gonna be when it really is time
so, they sent me home and said they wouldnt be surprised if they see me back tomorrow...I'm going to go for a nice long walk tomorrow...
how on earth am i supposed to sleep tonite? Between the pain and excitement and then the letdown of this not happening oh well... maybe i'll clean!

Re: false alarm- the hospital sent me home
Oh wow, I'm sorry that you went to the hospital and then they sent you home. I didn't sleep last night either from contractions. I thought for sure that I'd be in the hospital this morning. but not nothing. nada...not a thing. I'm just soooo constipated and fed up.

Re: false alarm- the hospital sent me home
just wanted to say that I went to the hospital with contractions every 6 minutes or so, sometimes skipping one too. I was in agony, couldnt move, so we went. hospital sent me home - it was like 4 AM, but told me to follow up with OB in the morning. went to OB that morning, he sent me straight to hospital, I was 5 cm and baby was very low. but - point being - the contractions jsut never got closer. but, I was in agony - would not have been able to be on the computer, couldn't breathe. so if it gets that bad, i owuld call OB, even if they're not 3-4 minutes. anyhow, good luck
