Do you use an overhead?
If so, where do you use it?
Right now, the board is too dark so I'm using a window shade as a screen.
Looking for ideas.

i use it for my fundations lessons, when i do dictation after children write the answer so do i for them to check. i use it a lot in fundations.
I use it for math all the time. i have transparencies of the math pages or i use it to explain something we are learning in math.
i want to try and use it for shared reading.

I use it all the time....We have pull down screens that we project it on to but I Have projected it onto dry erase post it paper too!

No... I used them sometimes to blow up a worksheet or a map, but i find the kids used to ZONE out. the general ed. teacher i work with has a smartboard so we use that as an overhead, blackboard, internetn etc. ti's awesome!

I just remembered what I used to do..I took those pull down maps and turned them over and used the brown side for the overhead...it worked!

I am in NYC and I don't have a screen either....practically no one does. DH is a NYC teacher as well and had to buy his own...be thankful for what you have.

but im in NYC we pretty much ALL have screens. Mine is over my blackboard
