Baby Movement Whats normal?
I am almost 20 weeks and haven't felt any movement. I don't even feel pregnant. I never had pains or nausea. Yeah sure some people would call it an easy pregnancy but I am worried. What does movement feel like anyways?

I'm 16 weeks and haven't felt any movement yet either...hopefully soon.

at first for me it felt like bubbles or butterflys.. then as she grew it was kicks and you cant miss those.
when your early they say if its the first preg. you wont even notice the movements.

I only felt flutters maybe once or twice.
At 20 weeks I started feeling definite thumps (kicks) I think normal to start feeling this is by about 22 or 25 weeks in a first pregnancy.
By 23 weeks I was feeling the baby every day multiple times. Now at 30 weeks I think I might have a gymnast in there!

I started feeling kicks at 16.5 weeks. BUT - most of my friends didnt feel anything until 22 or 23 weeks. I still dont know why this kid started kicking so early but it is SO ACTIVE all the time. I think I have one hyperactive kid on my hands. I am SCARED!!!!

I didn't feel anything until 23 weeks. I was worried too but the DR said my placenta was infront of her muffeling her kicks. Now I feel real kicks and it is awesome.

I didn't feel anything definite until around 23 weeks either, and this is my first. I was getting worried too, but my doctor kept reassuring me that a lot of women don't feel movement early, esp. with the first.
Now I feel lots of movement, though my child seems to like saving his biggest kicks for the hours of 2-5 am. Not good for me! I need to figure out a way to soothe him or something.
Don't worry, you should feel movement soon. It may be very light at first, and as others said butterflies or bubbles are probably the closest comparisons.
