My parents are from Italy and it was never a huge holiday for us. Of course we dressed up and T or T'd but it wasn't some big deal. I enjoyed it when I was younger
When I was a teenager I enjoyed the whole "I get to be sexy for the day" and dressed up in some fun costumes.
Now, I haven't dressed up in years and I can't imagine wasting $50 on something I am going to wear once. I enjoy giving out candy and seeing my nieces and nephews in their costumes though - oh and of course Brutus 
Thanks for posting, I felt kind of lame this year since I am the only one of my friends not dressing up!

Yeah, I'm not that into it... I would get dressed up in college because that's what everyone did and we went out and drank, but I'm not really into it. I love seeing people's costume, esp. kids costumes, and I won't lie, I dress my dog up, but for me, I'll stick to my regular clothes.

its not that i like halloween, but i love this time of year because its fall, and since the holiday is at this time, i cant help but to love it!

I'm TOTALLY not in to Halloween either...it's nothing specific, but I'm not a fan of costumes and not a fan of the whole "scary" theme....
I'm sure when I have kids I'll have to get better about it, but for now, I'm happy to boycott!

Don't hate it, but don't love it either. love seeing kids in costoume, my nephew is going to be a peacock, so that should be cute.

I am a fan of Halloween. Always have been.
When I was a kid is was way more than dressing up and getting candy... it was neighborhood warfare! We had shaving cream wars, tp'd rotten candy givers, hid to avoid teenagers who were out bag snatching. It was a different world. I guess it is the thrill of being out late and dragging home a pillowcase full of candy that I remember and love.
Now - I LOVE dressing up my kids and telling them spooky stories and having a bonfire. It's more than just the candy - it is like our celebration of Autumn.

I HATE dressing up, i think it is cause when i was very little, my mom made me and my sister dress up and enter contests for the Original Costume, i could never be what i wanted, and it was always a homemade handcrafted costume,
I think it scarred me for life

Halloween does nothing for me, but my little ones love it ... so ... I decorate the inside/outside and basically do it for them.
