UGGS and Work? Sorry to ask yet another UGG question...

Hi, I am thinking about getting a pair of Uggs because my feet are always freezing. I teach, and I am wondering if I can wear them to work under casual pants (I am thinking about buying the short UGGS in either brown or black). I often wear sweaters with slacks/khaki/cotton type pants in the winter.

Can I get away with this, or are they too casual for work? Anyone wear them to work?

i could never wear them to work, but that is because i deal with clients all day and wear suits

if i had a more casual job though, i probably still wouldn't wear them - especially if i were a teacher, i would feel as though i were dressed like a student

Regular UGGS I definitely think you can't wear them and make them look business casual. If you go with an UGG that's less mainstream, you could definitely pull it off...

I don't think they're appropriate for a corporate environment, so it depends where you work.

I wear them into work, and change when I get here.

If it is a "non important day" ie, no meetings, sometimes I keep them on all day!
