Re: Please help: Low Fat dessert needed
how about a pudding pie?
make 2 packages of sugar free fat free instant pudding (with skim milk) Let sit in fridge for about 10 mins
- low fat graham cracker crust
line the bottom with bananas or your favorite fruit (strawberries work too) on the bottom of the crust.
put the pudding on top.
You can decorate with some ff whip cream!
Good luck!!

Re: Please help: Low Fat dessert needed
I often make a Strawberry Shortcake Trifle when I need a lowfat dessert. So good & easy!
- 1 fat free angel food cake (sometimes I buy the one in the supermarket and sometimes I make my own)
- 1 container of strawberries
- 1 container of fat free cool whip
- 1 instant vanilla fat free pudding
Alternate layers of sliced angel food cake with cool whip, sliced strawberries, and fat free pudding.
Arrange in trifile bowl:

Re: Please help: Low Fat dessert needed
This is SO easy and SO yummy !!
1 Packet of Jello Fat Free/Sugar Free Vannilla instant Pudding Mix
1 Can crushed Pineapple IN JUICE (Not in syrup!!)
1 Cup Cool whip Free
1 Angel Food Cake.
Rasberries for garnish ........
Mix pudding mix with full can of pineapple, add cool whip -
slice angel food cake into 3 layers - lay 1/3 of the pudding mixture on the 1st layer, cover with cake, do the second layer and cover - top the cake with the remaining mixture and add some rasberries for color - Stick in the fridge for at least an hour ........
I also make it by cubing the angel food cake and creating a parfait type of thing in one of those bit glass bowl - MUCH easier to entertain with - not as messy !! -

Re: Please help: Low Fat dessert needed
I would just run to the grocery store and get the most outrageous berries, wash them and toss in a bit of sugar, lemon zest, and brandy, and then serve with an optional small dallop of homemade whipped cream (maybe also with a dash of brandy instead of vanilla, and with very little sugar)
not fat free, but people can take as much cream as they want, or avoid it completely.......
