That's pretty funny. I assume she is highly competitive with you. Just remember you did it all first. HAHa

I had that happen with one of DH's family members. My situation was worse...so much worse. Suffice to say- the mother of the groom at that wedding (who as a guest at my wedding) went out and bought the same dress that my mother wore to my wedding. The same dress. That was just ONE thing that was "borrowed"...

Re: I know imitation is the highest form of flattery, but

I had the same thing happen, however it was my DH's cousin's wife (if that makes sense :) ).

She used the same vendor, had the same type of centerpieces, had her shower at the same place and even asked if they could use my shower decorations.

I think she was p*ssed because she was engaged to the cousin long before DH and I were, but we got married first. It's been a competition ever since.

They said they were getting a house... that fell thru, we got ours first. So of course they had to hurry up and get preggo. When that didnt happen in the first month she went and took out a loan for fertility treatments, etc. She lost 6 lbs. and got pregnant naturally. Now her SIL is trying to get preggo and so what does this psycho do... she goes to the DR and asks for clomid! She wanted to make sure she got preggo with her 2nd before the SIL... Talk about stealing someone's thunder!

I didn't like her to begin with and now I really don't.

The honeymoon would weird me out sorta...the theme? Not really. That's a pretty popular fall theme. Be flattered; you were there first on all of it.
