November Bulletin Boad Thread!

Let's share our November BB or door sayings for our classrooms.

I just did our door, a blue sky, with green grass....some pumpkins, fall leaves...and I made Turkey's out of the kids shoes, (trace the foot on brown construction paper; heel is the head of turkey...then make feathers out of color construction paper) as well as myself and my co teacher.
it says "in this class are some terrific turkey's"

just going for the cute factor

my district has "limit TV week" in November - so that's my BB (Limit TV Week...Read a Book) with books that correspond to the different special days in November

Maris.. come on .. i work in the city.. what the heck is a NOV Bulletin board hahhaa.. we are TOLD what subject our BB HAS TO BE! oh what fun!! and it has to be current unit of stufy

But you could do turkeys. We read the book This is the Turkey. and we had our kids trace their hand into a turney and write the ryhming words in the feathers. but that might be too much for your kids.

We might do something like this also for our door and write. welcome to class XXX turkey Farm or something cute like that.

Last month we had them make pumpkins with rolled up tissue paper and we wrote on the door "welcome to class XXXX pumpkin patch" it was cute! i attached leaves to each and wrote their name there. Put butcher paper backing like dirt and drew vines

I hung up twelve quotes about being thankful on my door.
We also will publish our holiday memoirs and put those up.

outside, we all made large turkey feathers that represent us (its a family inovvlement project they do at home and bring in) - in my room, we have scarecrows we made ahning, our chicka chicka boom boom tree (its left over from sept. but they love to use it for spelling of friend's names!), a pumpkin and gourd patch thats 3-d and then the random clotheslines that sting along the room!

Each leaf has a different genre written on it and some larger leaves have descriptive paragraphs or poems describing the students feelings on the fall season!
