I need a new vet

My cocker has very bad ears. However, the vet we bring him to always gives him the same meds, even though I tell him that they aren't working. His ears NEVER clear up even on the meds. I need someone who is willing to try something else. Western Suffolk Please

We use aldrich animal hospital on Sunrise Hwy in Babylon. The people at the desk are not very competent, but the vets are great.

I know you said western, but I've heard great things about the Port Jeff Animal Hopital and I use Mt Sinai Animal Hospital.

Honestly, you can try another vet for a second opinion...but they are probably going to give him the same thing.
Cockers are notorious for terrible ears and eyes and there's not much you can do besides removing their ear canals (which you don't want to do since it makes them deaf).

You could try Massapequa Pet Vet or Aldrich Animal Hospital on Sunrise.

My Pets Vet in West Hills is amazing. The vets there are very competent & attentive.

I would definitely recommend Jericho Animal Hospital on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset. We brought my cockapoo there for 15 years (until he passed away recently) and they were just simply the most caring and competent people. He always had ear infections and they always knew just what to do to get rid of it (albeit temporarily, but that's just how the breed is).

I reccomend bayshore animal hosp. But there is only 1 vet there that i will see.

I go to a vet right in West Islip off Union Blvd. She does it out of her house. FM me if you want the phone number and address. She is really good and doesnt cost so much as regular vets.
