Eggplant Question..

All I crave is eggplant, Eggplant parm, Eggplant rolls, peene mellazne, anything eggplant. I heard from someone eggplant is not good during pregnancy..is this true?

i have never heard that...i eat it all the time!!! I just made a huge tray of eggplant rollatine ......maybe we need to get together and pig out!

we found out last week...boy!!!! i read that if you crave sweet things its a girl and i am a sweetaholic usually this pregnancy i hate sweets chocolate cake ice cream...i can leave it...and if u crave salt/sour its a boy, well that is all i wanted pickles, salt and vinegar chips, french fries ....and i am having a boy, so who knows....how much longer until you find out?? i went on this link all the time ..its fun! it said i was 80% likely to have a boyhttp://www.babygenderprediction.com/old-wives-tales/index.phtml

According to that website it is an 87% chance of a girl although I had to guess since I have not felt the baby kick yet. I am not finding out the sex before, I want to be surprised. I crave everything mostly junk. i do not crave fruit at all.

Actually when I was preggo with my son News 12 did a special on a place that served "laboring eggplant" It was a restaurant in Nassau or near the city, and they had like REALLY high statistics for amount of preggo women that ate the eggplant and then went home and within twelve or 24 hours went into labor!!!!!!!!! This was back in 03.. lol..

Towards the end with my son I tried eggplant and raspberry teas and nothing seemed to help!!

funny, I usually LOVE my MIL's eggplant rollatini, and now I just don't want to go near it.

She gave it to me a week ago, and it remains uneaten (and is probabl ready to toss now).

Theres also a restaurant in Atlanta that claims to have Labor Inducing Eggplant Parm. My friend told me about it and the news had done a story on them, including the recipe. When I was 4 days overdue, I got all the ingredients and worked all day making it. I put it in the oven and went in the shower and my water broke in the shower - true story, do a search on LIW under my name and you will see my story from 2002. LOL!!! I ate some before I went to the hospital (after all that work!!) and had my son 7 hours later. Anyone who wants the recipe when the time comes, FM me. Its absolutely delicious, ive made it many times since.

Eggplant is fine during the pregnancy.
