Get rid of squirrels in attic?
Suddenly there are lots of footsteps coming from the ceiling of the second floor of my house. And there's no third floor, and there's no Santa.
It sounds like squirrels jumping around. Anyone have any recommendations for pest control companies? I've heard a lot of them are shady.

Re: Get rid of squirrels in attic?
First off, find the hole they are coming in from.
Second, call any animal shelter, they coulf provide a ref for a co. to come rid of them.

My neighbor does this as a side job. He's really very good. His company is KJH Wildlife Management. He is licensed. His number is 631-472-5175. Ask for Joe.

Does he use humane methods? Like trap and release?

Yes. That's exactly what he does.

Re: Get rid of squirrels in attic?
also, you'll have to seriously search high and low for every possible route of entry.... branches / trees close to your home, holes (as mentioned above), and gutters that are easy to climb......
the holes have to be covered with steel. Once a route of entry has been discovered, they will gnaw through any wood plank covering the opening.
good luck!!!
