Re: Need Crockpot recipes
You don't need the manual.
I'll look up some recipes. I have a bunch of recipes in a word file. I could email them to you if you want.

Re: Need Crockpot recipes
i love making pot roast in mine.... just buy a roast, a bag of baby carrots, an onion, and a couple potatoes. put the roast in the pan, cut the potatoes and onion up into chunks, and dump the baby carrots in..... for liquid i usually put in one cup of beef broth and one cup of water. cook on low for 8 hours... comes out yummy!! AND you have the meat and veggie all in one you can also add some garlic or thyme or whatever to give it a little more flavor. i save the leftovers, and a couple days later just throw them in a pan in the over for about 10, 15 minutes. tastes just as good as the first day

Re: Need Crockpot recipes
1 1/2 jars Jack Daniels BBQ sauce 3 pounds pork end a little water in each jar (to rinse them out and add liquid to the pot)
Cook on low in the crockpot for 7 hours, pull it apart with forks, cook for another hour.
I actually cooked it for 12 hours and it was AMAZING!!!!!!

Re: Need Crockpot recipes
I don't eat meat, but I tried this and DH looooved it.
2 cans of cream of chicken soup and then a can of water.
1 cup rice
1 package frozen veggies (didn't get to store yet for fresh, otherwise I would have used fresh veggies)
4 pieces boneless chicken breasts.
Cooked on high 2-3 hours..
Next time, I think I will cut the chicken up and cook it longer.

Re: Need Crockpot recipes
I made this recipe several times and it came out great. Try to use less sauce though, the recipe called for waayyy too much
Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce
Ingredients - 8 (4 ounce) links fresh italian sausage -1 (26 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce -2 red peppers, seeded and sliced into strips -1 onion, sliced
Directions - Poke a fork hole in the italian sausage links and boil for 20 minutes
-Place the Italian sausage links, spaghetti sauce, red pepper and onion into a slow cooker. Stir to coat everything in sauce. Cover, and cook on Low for 6 hours. Serve on hoagie rolls, or over rice.
