Easy Hors Derves?
I know I massacred the spelling.
What are the easiest appetizers to make, that I can bring to Thanksgiving? Other than artichoke dip?

Re: Easy Hors Derves?
i agree... i think something light is best because you'll be eating soooo much at dinner! i agree with a shrimp coctail platter, or even just a veggie and dip tray.
ETA: my mom always makes a spinach dip in a round loaf of pumpernickel bread. she hollows out the bread loaf and cut that up into chunks of bread to dip. then she puts the spinach dip inside the hollowed out bread loaf. not sure of her recipe, but i think its just sour cream and some thawed out frozen spinach....

Re: Easy Hors Derves?
Homemade hummus with toasted pita bread.
2 cans garbanzo beans 1 jar roasted red peppers lemon juice garlic powder
mix in food processor
Spray pita bread with pam spray, sprinkle with garlic powder, cut into pieces. Toast until crispy.

Re: Easy Hors Derves?
Can't get easier than a cheese/cracker/pepperoni platter or veggies w/ dip.

Re: Easy Hors Derves?
here's a late entry hors d'ouevre suggestion........
buy those little puff pastry shells (in the frozen isle).... fill them with a slice of brie, and a small spoon of raspberry preserves, and bake according to the directions on the box
