I really thought I'd go this weekend...
BUT...I'm still here!!!
I've been walking every day and doing squats here and there...been losing this mucus plug for what seems like weeks and every night I seem to have these false labor pains...
I'm getting more and more nervous as each day passes...my next and hopefully LAST doctor's appt is Thurs and I'm due FRI!!!
I guess I shouldn't have gotten so excited when my doc told me I'd probably go within the week...which was last Wed...and that I wouldn't last until my due date...but, that's 4 days from now...I know it doesn't seem like a very long time...but, I'm so anxious to meet this little baby!!!!!!!
Please...can you girls send me some LABOR VIBES!!!!!!!!!

Everyone told me to walk and do squats - so I did non-stop - and nothing happened.
Finally I stopped, decided to relax for a day - lying down on the couch like a bum and boom - my water breaks! When it's your time, it's your time - not sure how much you can rush it.
I know how you feel though - hang in there - it won't be much longer!!

Oh I know I can't rush it...but, now, we're just playing that waiting game and you know how it is...
Having to listen to everyone say, oh my, you're so low, you look like you're going to go any minute and...they tell you to...go do "that thing" with your husband...or eat something spicy...or to the really old OLD WIVES tale...we drank castor oil
I can't listen to it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought you would go as well being that you are so dilated.
I hope it happens soon for you. It definitely sounds like all the signs are pointing in the right direction.
I know how frustrating the waiting at the end can be. I had to wait 5 extra days, 2 of those having pro dromal labor and therefor no sleep.

What is pro dromal labor?
Its when you have real contractions , not BH's and they will get close together but then space out again so its not time to go to the hospital. This happened to me for 2 days. They are painful enough that I couldn't sleep through them, so frustrating. But they did get me dialted to 3cm and I was in labor at my next appointment so that was great.

Oh and I know how anxious you must be but rest up, relax and enjoy whatever days you have left! I am so glad I did.
