transportation to Islip airport or long term parking
I checked the airport website but couldn't exactly find long term parking(1 week). Has anyone here used it? If you have used a taxi/limo service, any recommendations? (from exit 70 to ISP and the return).

I used a limo service out of Selden, i will try to remember the name.
We are using Hampton Coach in Feb to JFK
ISP parking rates

 I could have asked family for a ride but don't want to bother since we'll be leaving around 5am.
I saw those rates on the website but still wasn't sure what the difference between the 2 is other than the $1.50 price difference.

The more expensive one is closer to the terminal - you can walk to/from the terminal instead of taking a shuttle.

I was there in Sept. The economy lot is a hike compared to the no economy lot

We parked in long-term parking. MUCH cheaper than getting a car service even just one way.
There is a shuttle bus that takes you to and from the lot and terminal - it runs constantly and as you know it's a tiny airport - so no waiting...

If money were no object I would get the car service (we don't for ISP but will for JFK) it's nice to be picked up and get into a nice warm car when it's cold out... and no worrying about your car in a lot for a week.
If you can get family to do it, always the best option for the warm car and saving in parking money (but yet you pay for gas...)
Parking the car is great esp in ISP. It is pretty cheap, you save on round trip gas costs and as long as you have DH get the car as you get the bags the car will be warm when you get in
