Cookie question
Okay so this had probably been posted a million times, BUT, i am going to make cookies for christmas. Does anyone have an easy recipie for the frosting to decorate the cookies. TIA

I don't know it off hand, but there's one on the confectioners sugar box that's really easy and really good! I think you just need some milk, vanilla, and chocolate (if desired).

I use my buttercream frosting. I just let the cookies set on the table for about an hour to let the icing dry enough so I can put them in a container.
1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. crisco 1tsp. vanilla 4 tblsp. milk 4 cups (1lb.) powdered sugaar
cream the butter and crisco. Add some powdered sugar a little at a time. As it starts to get thick add some of the milk and vanilla. Keep adding until you use all of the sugar.

I use frosting in a can. I separate it into little bowls to add food coloring. Takes a little longer to dry, but its delish and easy.
