Not entirely true, but that is how I feel. There are some free shows - The Fountains at Bellagio is my favorite. All the hotels have shows, some are  some are reasonable. Lots of hotels have different rides - like the roller coaster at New York, New York. You just have to look around.

Nothing you can't do back home.
There's shows and hanging out by the pool, if the weather is warm. And walking around and looking at the casinos and then complaining that your feet hurt.

Work I have only been to Vegas to work...never to visit
I just went a couple weeks ago for 4 days and sat in tech training for our new software. We did find time to have fun a night too

Walk up and down the strip, do some penny gambling, eat, take a day trip to the grand canyon, hang out at your hotel pool, watch other people gamble, eat more food, watch the free shows, see the Star Trek exhibit.
I love vegas.
