I work for Kaplan.

I worked part time as a tutor, ACE Coordinator and Student Advisor from 2001-2005. I've been working full time as an Academic Coordinator at Kaplan Premier since April.

Pros:
-Super friendly, fun environment
-business casual (and in some places casual) dress code
-Strong ethic of advancement and employee development
-Most of people working for KTPA in the field (centers) are high test scorers, which doesn;'t actually mean anything, but the result is that most people are really intelligent, intellectual and slightly (or more than slightly) nerdy
-Good job security. Even if your position is eliminated they will try to find you another position witin the company
-Very supportive and team-oriented environment
-Full benefits, 401K, sick days, etc

Cons:
-not the highest paying company by competetive with others in the industry
-In some departments snobby and elitist people (this is the exception, most people are really nice)
- You work very hard, especially during some seasons, depending on your department
