alcohol-removed wine
so my mom bought me alcohol-removed white zinfandel since she knows how much i love it but can't have the regular kind. it still has .5% alcohol, which is the same i think as like an o'douls.
anyone know how safe it is? i'm going to the obgyn on tuesday so i'll ask him. i obviously wouldn't drink the whole bottle at a time, but i thought a glass at dinner like once a week or every week would be nice if it was safe.
btw...i'm just about 12 weeks

i would think that it's safe to have a glass every now and again....

Completely safe! I drank it along with pregnant friends at a wedding...alcohol percentage is same as what is found in some foods, or things cooked with wine...

Def ask your OB, but I was told during my PG that a glass of regular red wine once a week was OK during PG, so I cannot imagine that alcohol removed is bad unless there is a chemical in it.....

Preggo-wise it's fine, the taste though...  I had some at my brother's rehearsal dinner and it was so incredibly sweet. But if you're a white zin drinker normally, maybe it'll be fine (my mom drinks it a lot and likes it).
Once you get out of the 1st trimester, there are few docs that would shun a glass of red wine every once in a while. I've had a few since I'm preggo (next one is Christmas  ).
To the PP who asked where to get it, Stop n Shop carries it in the soda / juice / beer aisle. There are usually only a few bottles so you may have to hunt it out.

I bought welch's sparkling grape juice...doesnt tase l;ike wine but it comes in a wine bottle and its fun!!!! got it at target...yum yum
