Shepard's Pie Recp needed
In desperate need of a yummy beef Shepard's Pie (or Country Pie as it would also be called) recipe.
Anyone have one or know a site where there is a great one that has been tasted? TIA!!

Re: Shepard's Pie Recp needed
I think it is really tasty. Especially in the winter when you need a good hearty meal.

I just saw Rachel Ray making one on her show- it looked really good and didn't seem too difficult!

Re: Shepard's Pie Recp needed
I make a really simple but yummy shepherd's pie. I use a pre-made pie crust, bake it for 10 minutes. At the same time, I saute ground turkey with onions, garlic, pepper, salt, and paprika until nearly brown, but still a bit pink. Next, I mix in gravy and mixed veggies and cook for about 5 more minutes. Next, I pour the mixture into the pie crust and top with mashed potatoes. You then bake it in the oven for 30 minutes at 350. It is easy and really good.
