painting upstairs of a cape

We have a cape and want to paint both of the bedrooms upstairs.

This is what I was thinking

Walls - beige/tan
angled walls - baby blue
ceiling - white

What do you think??

the one room will be DS's room the other nothing until baby #2 comes

I personally wouldn't do three colors. JMHO. I would do the angled walls the same as the ceiling.

We did the angled walls the same color as the walls, then ceiling white for the ceiling. The three colors might look nice for a child's room, though.

Depending on the angles, I'd actually paint the angled wall the same color as the other walls. Generally, painting the angled walls the same color as the "regular" walls makes the room appear more open.

when we lived in our apartment, which was the upstairs of a cape, we painted the angled walls the same color as the regular walls.

Re: painting upstairs of a cape

I have a room like that (not a cape, but the same type of room) and we just painted it all one color, a pale greyish-green. It will be a guestroom/office.

The colors you chose sound cute for a baby's room. Maybe do the ceiling light blue also so there are only 2 colors?
