Question For Those Who Have Used Menopur
I started my Gonal F w/Menopur three night ago. My DH has a question!
Since I am ONLY supposed to use 1ml of the Menopur liquid at a time, and the bottle comes with 2ml, do we save the other 1ml for the next night or dispose and use a new bottle?
I can call tomorrow to ask a nurse but if any of you get this I'd appreciate your knowledge. To be safe..we've started new ones each time but kept the other just in case.

you should dispose of the liquid - its just saline.

are you talking about just the saline? then yes dispose of it.
Are you mixing with 2ml and then drawing only 1ml of the mixture (taking a 1/2 dose). Then I am not sure because I have never heard of that? BUt I would think throw it out.

if it is just the saline then you can throw it out.

Ok, well I use the whole 75 IU of Powder for the Menopur and then I was told to use 1ml, not 2ml of the saline to mix. Is that what you all did, only 1ml, not 2 ml so throw the additional 1ml of slaine out and use a fresh bottle the next night? Correct?
This posting confused me...

Saying she never heard of that. I was told to USE ONLY 1ML of the saline , not 2.
