Need Bottle Advice

My son has used the Dr. Brown's bottles since birth...want to get rid of them because they are awful to clean and they leak like crazy...

Tried the Nuby bottles....ds can't get the formula to come out through their weird Vari-flow nipple....

Any other suggestions? I want something simple and cheap.....has anyone used Gerber bottles or Evenflo bottles?

Re: Need Bottle Advice

We used the playtex drop ins and love them. They aren't so expensive since you actually only need one or two bottles and then you can buy additional nipples (which then can go in the dishwasher). They are super easy to clean since you just use a new liner and clean nipple for each one.

I also think that the starter pack is on sale right now a BRU.

Re: Need Bottle Advice

We switched from Dr. Browns to Playtex VentAir when Angelina was a few weeks old. She loves the playtex bottles. My sister has used Dr. Browns since my nephew was born (he is 5 months old) and she just switched to Ventair because of the cleaning process and also it takes him a lot longer to drink from the Dr. Browns compared to the Playtex.

We use Soothie bottles. DD loves them and they're super easy to clean.

Re: Need Bottle Advice

we switched from Dr. Brown's to Born Free with no problems at all! you can get either glass or plastic (BPA free)... they still have special valve to prevent collic but are so much easier to clean...

Re: Need Bottle Advice

I use the Born Free bottles too, but they definitely aren't cheap.
