new job vs stability question
If you had a job you were comfortable with but didnt love the work and had no room to grow. But you have a second job you love but doesnt pay well. vs A new job in something you love that makes only a few k more then your job now and would have a longer commute and have to take the subway. But your not sure about how stable it is.
which would you take or stay with?
eta: my husband owns his own business and doesnt bring home a steady pay check. this will weigh heavily when i have to make my decision.

I vote you stay at the "second job you love and are amazing at"...
But no really...I think when you ask a question like this it means that you are unsure. I'd wait it out and keep looking.

me too. a few K won't amount to much after taxes, especially if you account for your extra time traveling as well as the extra cost of the subway.
i left my job after 6 1/2 years to start my own business. best move I ever made- I was miserable where I was. I couldn't handle waiting anymore- and truly believe that it worked out how it should have. it was the right time. i think if you wait it out you'll find exactly what you're looking for.
