recipe using hamburger meat?
Ok... I only have hamburger meat in the freezer and I don't know what to make. I am tired of tacos, spaghetti, and meatloaf. Anyone have any good recipes using hamburger?

Re: recipe using hamburger meat?
I'm making meatballs and raviollis tonight.
But later this week I am making a taco-mac: (I wing it) Cook elbow macaroni, drain Brown the meat, mix in corn and choice of beans. Mix with pasta. In a sauce pot 1 can diced tomatoes, green chilis or jalapenos if you like heat, taco seasoning packet. Heat and then stir in 3/4 package of shredded cheedar/mexican cheese. Melt cheese. Pour and mix into meat mixture. Strinkle with remaining cheese and cook in oven until bubbly.

Re: recipe using hamburger meat?
as kids my mother used to make beef & noodles.
brown ground beef & drain out grease.
add one can of tomato sauce, one can of beef gravy, salt, pepper & oregano - mix and let simmer.
in seperate pot cook wide egg noodles per package directions.
combine & serve.

Re: recipe using hamburger meat?
Okay, this is my own recipe. Other than the beef, the quantities are to your own taste
Cheeseburger Paradise: 2 servings
1/2 lb hamburger meat chopped pickles red onion hot peppers (if desired) ketchup yellow mustard beer cheddar cheese
in a food processor, chop up the pickles and onion. Cook them in a pan with olive oil until the onions are browned. Add the chopped meat and a few tablespoons of beer and cook. Partway through (when the meat is still pink), add ketchup and mustard. Mix as it is cooking. If dry, add more beer. Towards the end, sprinkle the whole thing with cheese and let melt.
Serve over the rice of your choice.

Re: recipe using hamburger meat?
I made this tonight. DH LOVES it.
Sloppy Joe's:
1 1/3 pounds ground beef or turkey 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1/2 red onion, chopped 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped 1 tablespoon grill seasoning blend, such as McCormick brand Montreal Steak Seasoning 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (I tend to use more) 1 cup tomato sauce 4 crusty sandwich rolls, split
Heat a big skillet over medium-high heat for you. Add the EVOO to the pan. Break the meat up with a big wooden spoon as it starts to cook.
Add the onion and pepper to the cooking meat and stir it together.
Next, mix the following ingredients together in a small bowl: grill seasoning blend, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and tomato sauce. When all the ingredients are combined, pour the sauce evenly over the meat and stir everything together really well.
Turn the heat down to simmer and cook the sloppy mixture for 10 minutes. Taste for seasoning. Pile onto the rolls and serve!
