Inexpensive Area Rug?
Where should I look for a large area rug thats CHEAP. I just need it for now while my son is playing a lot on the floor. Its almost like a play mat for him so I dont want anything nice that will get ruined with kid messes so to speak.

Also look into getting carpet used for wall to wall carpeting bound. You can usually get almost any size you want fairly inexpensively!

If you have patience, I would pop into Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and Crate and Barrel every so often to look for discounted rugs.
I found our rug on sale for $200 (from $700) at Pottery Barn. It had never been stepped on, it was hanging on the rack.

Definitely try BJs. We got an 8x11 there for around $100.
