Purple usually, but never red.
I'm also against "x"ing papers - I circle the number of incorrect answers.
That's just me.

Ok, I just had to take a break from grading papers because I'd almost forgotten the funniest comment one of the kids made the other day. I was giving back papers in my AP class, and this boy was flipping through his, and I heard him mutter, "wow, I'm starting to think blue's worse than red..." It was SO HARD for me not to start laughing because I IMMEDIATELY thought of this thread. I just had to walk away, and now I get to share it with all of you.

Thats was GREAT!! You must of thought...I better let the teachers of LIF know to change it up so there is no pattern for the kids!! HE HE!!!
