Why was she banned? She didn't say anything nasty about anyone (unless I missed it). She is entitled to her own opinions, even if they are a prejudiced.
ITA. It seemed some others called her on her views that they did not agree with. But I never saw anything out of line from her towards anyone.

I wonder if it was voluntary based on how some people responded to her. B/c wouldn't the thread have likely been locked if LIF felt she crossed a line with that thread (which by the way, was mostly based on someone's article and her thoughts thereafter)?

But then don't all your posts get deleted too? I thought I remember that happening with someone from Parenting who was being harassed.

But then don't all your posts get deleted too? I thought I remember that happening with someone from Parenting who was being harassed.
I think that was a special case. Usually, if your account is "closed" your posts stay but you just can't post any more.

I honestly think I was wrongfully attacked in the previous thread for simply sharing an article I came across, and giving my opinion. I thought that people on here were more mature than calling people train wrecks, ignorant, sad...etc.
Since when is someone's opinion wrong?

Right. There was also talk that Huckabee's Mormon religion would be an issue..anyone see that big deal they made about the Christmas message with the window pane's cross shape in the background?
Some people DO judge the person who will run the world based on their religious beliefs, esp if they feel the religion will interfere with that president making the best decision for all of us (VS their religious beliefs/obligation).
People do find common ground with those who believe in the same issues as they do (yes, even same religion). It's all about feeling comfort and familiar with someone or something.
So even if it is not the reason to vote for someone, that will be what some people base their vote on, like it or not.

there is a separation of church and state in this country.
I would not elect a president of ANY religion that wanted to impress the beliefs/values of their religion on to the rest of the country.

and Tatjana, as I said before, I simply reiterated your own words in your post. what you perceived them to be...and questioned why you would be content to be perceived in such a manner or believe in such a manner.
