I used to take it at night..1/2 of one. It helped me sleep because it relaxed me. I had no side effects, but I would take it at night to start just to see how it affects you. Maybe after dinner..

On saturday I took one bc I was having a full blown anxiety attack i could not get a grip (all bc I was hungover) I could not convince myself that my physical symtpoms were a result of drinking too much vodka the night before.

Sunday I was fine

Yesterday I took one and today I took one around the same time. I feel like I took Benadryl (drowsy)

i never took a whole one. Only half. Maybe the dosage is too much?

When you pick up the prescription it says to take one a day, I have never done that. I only take it when I have to deal with big crowds or other situations that may make me anxious. Sometimes I feel like I just used an illicit drug and other times I just feel calm.

they def calm me down but the next day i feel like i have "medicine head" but who knows, it could be from me thinking about it too much?

it takes about 20 minutes to kick in for me. i used to have bad panic attacks, FM me if you want to talk

I only take it for anxiety attacks or occasionally at night if i have had an insane day...it makes me feel really mellow and sort of slow - mo.

I have anxiety as well and have taken Xanax on and off over the past few years. It is very addictive and I never took it daily, only when I was having a panic attack. I have read that you can get addicted to Xanax in as little as 8 doses. Be careful!

mine (which i am not currently taking as i am pregnant) are .25. i find that for my worst fear, which is flying, i need 3 -4 to feel better which my doctor said is fine. that amount makes me fall asleep.

for an anxiety attack, one is enough.

Xanax can creat dependancy, so you should really only take it when you are feeling anxious or approaching something that makes you feel anxious.

I would take a half one and within an hour or so feel hunky dory.
