WW: To join or not to join...
I pretty much know how WW diet works from my mom and sister (although I no longer have access to the point books). I passed a WW today by my apartment and was thinking about it. How time consuming are the meetings? I heard you can join online too, what are the pros and cons? What are the benefits of going to meetings? How much does it cost to join? I want to lose about 10 pounds of fat. DH and I are sugar junkies and would like to incorporate good foods in proper portions into his diet as well.

Re: WW: To join or not to join...
hi, i have been a ww member since july. the meetings are 30 mins--not time consuming at all! the benefits of going to the meetings are the support and info you get there. you can also buy ww snacks there.
there are different $ levels of membership- you can do a pay as you go, a 10 week membership or a monthly pass. the monthly pass gives you unlimited access to the ww website.

Thanks! I am actually going to do the month pass and see how I like it. DH has agreed to come along as a pay-as-you-go type of thing. He's really not into it, but he's trying to be supportive.

I opted to join in-person rather than on-line, because if I know that I have to "report" to get weighed it, it will help keep me on track better. That's just me and how my mind works. I am on week 6, and so far I have lost 8 lbs.
